How to permanently change the number your modem dials:

Windows 95/98 - Windows 3.1 - Mac - ConfigPPP - Mac - Open Transport

Windows 95/98:

1.   Double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
2.   Double-click on the Dial-Up Networking icon.
3.   Single-click on the Mikka internet connection icon.
          NOTE: This connection may be named differently.
4.   Click on File, then Properties.
5.   Then replace the current number with the 9631 1000.
6.   Then click the OK or Close button to finish.

Windows 3.1:

1.   Open the Mikka Internet dialer.
2.   Click on the Properties button.
3.   Click on the Location tab.
4.   Replace the phone number under Provider Number with 9631 1000.
5.   Then click OK.

Macintosh - ConfigPPP:

1.   Click on the Apple Menu, then select Control Panels, then select ConfigPPP.
2.   Click on the Config button.
3.   Replace the phone number with 9631 1000.
4.   Click Done.
5.   Close ConfigPPP.

Macintosh - Open Transport:

1.   Click on the Apple Menu, then select Control Panels, then select PPP.
2.   Replace the phone number with 9631 1000.
3.   Close the panel, and say Yes to save changes.
